Rajendran Ramaswamy (Founder & CEO)

Rajendran has a Masters degree in Bio Chemistry from Madras University. He followed his passion for natural products by working at two Natural Products companies, Kothari Phyto-chemicals in Madurai and Sami Chemicals in Bangalore. He also worked at a Pharmaceutical company CIPLA in Bangalore. This blend of experience gave him the inspiration to start Green Chen in Bangalore in 1997 to offer natural products with Pharmaceutical quality. Leveraging his R&D and technical strengths, he set up state-of-the-art quality controls and manufacturing facilities. He has been instrumental in leading the development of over 200 different herbal extract ingredients that are marketed globally in many countries. He holds numerous awards and patents for innovation and Export Excellence around the world.

Kamala Rajendran

 

(Director, Technical & Patenting)

 

Kamala Rajendran holds a Bachelor’s degree in Special Chemistry. She worked in R&D and Quality Control at Kothari Phytochemicals and CIPLA. Leveraging this experience, she developed the Research and Quality Control labs in Green Chem. She is the co-patent holder for all patents with Rajendran. Her innovations were rewarded by national and international institutions. Her passion for studying herbs has helped Green Chem to develop many multi ingredients formulas for various health ailments.

Ravikumar Rajendran

 

(Senior Manager, Sales & Operations)

Ravi has an MBA from Harvard Business School. Combining this experience together with his management consulting work at KPMG, he gained expertise in developing efficient systems and procedures for running businesses.  His passion is working with Operational systems and controls. This has helped Green Chem grow rapidly resulting in the company receiving many national awards and international recognitions

Krishna Rajendran

 

(Senior Manager, Sales & New Product Development)

Krishna holds a Masters Degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Supply Chain Management and is currently pursuing his MBA degree at Harvard Business School. Prior  to joining MIT, he worked at Green Chem in New Business Development to identify new  growth opportunities for the company in new markets and segments. He led various new  business development initiatives that have helped lead the company into various new segments.
